OHM (Chongqing) Electronics Technology Co., Ltd.
Founded in August 2013, OHM is a high-tech enterprise dedicated to industrial wireless remote control equipment, encompassing R&D, production, sales, and after-sales service. OHM has established a manufacturing base in Chongqing and a sales and service center in Shanghai to deliver exceptional consulting, support, and after-sales service for industrial wireless remote control technology.
As a pioneer in the industrial wireless remote control sector, OHM adheres to the principle of "creating brilliance through quality" and the mission of "always providing safe and reliable industrial wireless remote control products." We are committed to developing safe, durable, and high-quality remote control equipment that reduces labor, enhances efficiency, and offers operators a safer and more convenient working environment across industries such as construction, forestry, and mining.
OHM is dedicated to becoming the most influential producer of industrial wireless remote control products both domestically and globally, representing the nation’s premier brand in remote control technology.
Industrial Remote Control and Its Advantages
Remote controls are ubiquitous in everyday life. However, industrial remote controls are quite different from civilian ones and are less commonly known.
An industrial remote control device uses radio transmission to enable remote operation or control of industrial machinery. It consists of a handheld or waist-mounted transmitter and a receiver installed on the equipment. The operator inputs commands into the transmitter, which are then digitized, encoded, and transmitted wirelessly to be decoded by the receiver, thus controlling the machinery.
Industrial remote controls require higher technical parameters than civilian remote controls, such as accuracy, sensitivity, signal continuity, anti-interference, range, waterproofing, dustproofing, and resistance to extreme temperatures and chemicals. These features enable them to function effectively in harsh environments, where civilian remote controls cannot.
Industrial remote controls are predominantly used in crane-operating industries such as metallurgy, shipbuilding, container terminals, warehousing, machinery manufacturing, chemicals, papermaking, and construction. They enable remote control over vast distances, unaffected by obstacles, allowing operators to manage equipment safely and efficiently from any vantage point within the control radius, thus improving safety and production efficiency.
What are the ADVANTAGES of industrial remote controls?
★ Slash manufacturing and maintenance expenses: The shift from traditional cab operations to sophisticated remote control systems has transitioned from novelty to necessity, embedding itself as a hallmark of modern production processes.
★ Enhance safety and trustworthiness: By eliminating the command link, risks of miscommunication due to improper commands are mitigated. Operators gain a direct, unobstructed view of the hoisted items, significantly improving situational awareness. This approach eradicates the hazards associated with cab-based tower crane operations during severe weather and the pitfalls of miscommunication during high-altitude tasks, thereby preventing needless accidents.
★ Elevate the operating environment: Operators now have the liberty to select safe vantage points, steering clear of positions plagued by poor visibility and severe pollution. This strategic advantage shields operators from harmful gases, ensuring a safer working environment.
★ Optimize human resources: For instance, in bridge crane operations, a single individual can seamlessly handle the operations, mooring, hanging, and unloading tasks without the need for additional command.
★ Boost work efficiency: Autonomous judgment by operators enhances the precision and fluidity of operations. Freed from the confines of upper and lower cabs and intricate operator lines, workers are no longer subjected to the discomforts of high-temperature environments, leading to a notable increase in morale and operational efficiency.
The extensive adoption of industrial remote controls across various sectors underscores their compelling advantages, making them increasingly indispensable.
